At Chasquifund S.A.S. ("Chasquifund", "we"), Tax ID (RUC) 1793148291001, with registered office at Av. República del Salvador N36-84 y Naciones Unidas, Mansión Blanca Building, Floor 8, Quito 170135, Ecuador, we process your personal data in accordance with the Ecuadorian Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) and its General Regulation.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Chasquifund S.A.S., registered with the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance of Ecuador under number 748192. You may contact our Data Protection Officer by writing to privacy@chasquifund.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the data you provide voluntarily through the information request form (full name and email address), as well as technical browsing data (IP address, device type, pages visited) collected via cookies.
3. Purposes and legal basis
The data is processed to: (i) respond to your request and provide additional information about the next steps, based on your consent; (ii) maintain administrative records, based on compliance with legal obligations; and (iii) improve the service through aggregated statistical analysis, based on our legitimate interest.
4. Retention period
Data is retained for as long as an active informational relationship exists and, thereafter, for the legal limitation periods (up to 6 years under Ecuadorian law). Technical browsing data is retained for a maximum of 24 months.
5. Recipients
We do not transfer your data to third parties except where legally required. We use technology providers (web hosting, transactional email and analytics) acting as data processors under contract and offering guarantees equivalent to those required by the LOPDP.
6. Data subject rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, restriction and not to be subject to automated decisions by writing to privacy@chasquifund.com and attaching a copy of your ID document. You may also file a complaint with the Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data of Ecuador.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data, including in-transit encryption (TLS 1.3), role-based access controls and audit logs.
8. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory changes or service improvements. The current version will be published on this page with the update date.
